I came from the motel 6 down the street which was DIRTY and unprofessional the manager was rude.
Check in was easy and the office staff was great. The place is hard to find because there's no sign and there's construction. The room was clean but the room also smelled a bit funky.
3stars for prompt and courteous service, having clean rooms, for being conveniently located directly off the highway & having a hot continental breakfast. Unfortunately, this facility really is out of date and has a few issues that need to be dealt with like a leaking toilet in the 1st room we had, and the complete lack of hot water in the 2nd room. The parking lot is a bit torn up and the spaces are not defined at all.
My stay was great the manager the two men they are very nice along with the maintenance guy.
It was very easy to get to this motel from Philly. Front desk was very friendly and great for conversation. The rooms themselves were very clean if not simple. If you are just stopping for the night like us and moving on quickly then you can't beat it.
Front desk employee was completely disrespectful during time of check in. She called the manager or owner from her cell phone i assume to come to the lobby as he showed up a half minute later. Finally finished checking in and learned i would be paying almost 20$ more due to ongoing construction and renovation. You would think that would give customers the right to a discount not an extra charge. But by the looks of the rooms they needed the extra cash. The sink was leaking, lights were burnt out. Burn holes in the bed sheets and linen. They even cut back in full sized pillows! Mine were barely the size of throw pillows. The lock latch was torn off the room door. And I woke up to a small dark friend laying next to me in the bed. My only wish is that I was able to find big guy once I hit it with my cell phone and swatted him off the bed. I came to conclude he wanted out of this place faster then me!
But they were very nice to everyone including the employees. They are working on the place and doing some construction so it looks bad on the outside but very nice inside.
But coming here made our trip better, the rooms are nice and clean. The pool is no longer he the man said it was causing too many problems like the people using it.
